Light Wand Microduct Tracer 20m
The Light Wand Microduct Tracer has been designed to identify the correct blowing tube when used in conjunction with the C00-6118 10mW Visual Fault Locator. The Light Wand Microduct Tracer comprises a pushable ruggedised 3mm POF (Plastic Fibre Optic) cable with diffuser end that can be fed down a microduct, and once connected to the VFL the light is visible through the microduct wall and easily identify the correct tube. (note: for heavily pigmented microducts the glow may need to be viewed in less than full daylight, i.e.in the excavated trenchline. The fibre can be easily unwound and rewound onto the free standing reel. SC connectors are field replaceable.
The Wand is particularly useful for applications where ‘Toby Boxes’ need to be moved to a new location.
